In Chiao’s vision, we inhabit the afterlife of violence—an immortal nation, untouched by war, unmarked by cruelty. The paintings unfold in chromatic harmonies, with painterly forms echoing the mythic promise of a future in which the very act of feeding becomes an ethical ritual.
