Going to the Lake is a dynamic abstract composition depicting a walking male figure. For the artist, this piece is autobiographical and reminds him of his youth spent in the Talka village South of Minsk in Belarus. They usually spent time there by the lake, playing guitar, making bonfires, and flirting with the girls. The colors used in the composition are neutral ocher and mustard yellow.
