Artwork Description:
In Flowers and Satellites #4 we see the artist depicting a plentiful of biologic and man-made forms on the neutral background. Colors here are orange, turquoise, black, yellow, violet, and all the wealth of forms - crosses, circles, curved lines, and complex combinations of elements are represented in this painting. The launch of satellite Sputnik 1 was one of only a few evident worldwide successes of the artist-native Soviet Union. The artist chooses to focus  on the positive, rather than the negative. He affirms that only weaknesses result in faults. Be stronger, is his message to everyone, overly wildly criticizing Soviet or NATO systems.
